The depth of the cage was a bit too big for my iPad but having said that, the cage held the iPad very firm and would only move within the cage if a downward shock took place, which hopefully won't happen normally. The cage gives me the ability to fit a transmitter to the back of the iPad for music video production which is very useful. It has the potential to fit many accessories to the iPad which is always a good thing.
