It’s Japanese, the most popular mayonnaise brand over there, and is made with egg yolks only, so it’s creamier than western mayonnaises that use the whole egg. I also find it more tangy than western mayonnaise. It has rice vinegar instead of distilled vinegar. This brand is widely available in UK supermarkets for cheaper than here on Amazon. The reason I bought this one is because it’s made in Japan, the ones in the supermarket are made in Poland and I’d read that the true Japanese ones taste even nicer. However, I couldn’t taste any difference at all between them.
