Initial reaction is 'wow'. The boots are a perfect fit. I wasn't looking forward to the struggle with getting them on, but a set of very helpful instructions (so simple, but so right) ensured they went straight on without any trouble. They look good, seem well made. If they last as long as the Fryes (which wasn't long enough given their price) I'll happily stump up for another pair, in fact I plan to buy another pair in a couple of months if all goes as I hope, in case they decide to stop making them. I have wide feet and find some brands too narrow, but I chose my exact size and they fit perfectly. They are still going strong and are virtually unmarked. They are simple, classy, no fuss biker/cowboy boots. I have had to get the heels re soled a few times but I am heavy on the heels. Not too tight or loose and feel as if they'll break in as well as could be expected. And they are just like the Durango's I had 45 years ago back in high school. Loved those boots and made miles of tracks. Came back to school after one summer where I grew half a foot plus the height of those boots. Suddenly the bullies were hiding and the gals were introducing themselves.
