It is very bright and handy. At first I felt the twist dial for light functions would be a problem. The more I used the more I like that! If I put it in my pocket I do not have to worry about it turning on after I have put my hand in my pocket and bumping the end cap. Caution though, being this bright it will get pretty warm.
