Review: Excellent value for money. Great for smart homes - I have a smart home. Alexa, lights, plugs etc and upgraded my internet to a high speed connection. The thought of changing all my smart devices to the new router was rather daunting. So, I got this and changed it's name and password to my that of my old router, then connected it to my new modem. (This router allows older style passwords of 8 characters. Some new ones will not allow less than 12 with special characters. So it's perfect for your older modem) Bingo. All my smart devices now run through this router and work fine. (300M max speed is far faster than you'll ever need for smart devices) Like any router or modem, I'd recommend you turn it off and on again every so often (It clears data that can slow it down) but if you do, this works amazingly well. Especially for the price. PLus, it look all flashy with blinking lights and all that :)

Get your sim (make sure it is activated, some need to go into a phone to receive a code first) but if not, just pop the sim in, go the the website it says in the instructions, it finds your Tenda and you set up a password. That is it! It then works just like any wifi router and gives you glorious wifi to use. If like me, it is your main wifi do try and find a good priced unlimited data sim if you can afford it so you can carry on as normal. I had to change my sim provider and just popped in the new sim and away it went, no messing about at all. Clearly I am using this with a sim card not ethernet, so cannot comment on ethernet use, but cannot see why it would be any different. A little more than I wanted to pay but it is a one off payment and will do for me :)

**Q: why am i only getting 100mbps on this when it advertises 300mbps, my provider gives me 350 i had this speed before, ive also upgraded to cat7 cable**
A: It only has 10/100 Ethernet ports not gigabit which is what you need to look for with internet speeds 100+

**Q: As i would not be buying this from my Internet provider, how would they know i was using it in order to charge me for doing so, and why ?**
A: They can't charge you for something that they didn't provide for you

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great router for the price

Very good router it just works and the interface is self explanatory. Wi-Fi signal is the same as by smart hub and you merge 2.4 and 5ghz bands together, separate them when adding smart bulbs. Only slight issue with mine is that the spring that lets you eject the SIM card is not working so if I need to change it I will have to use some tweezers.
