I don't feel that is a bad thing, as I think these are going to be perfect when the little one really wants to grind away with those new teeth that are emerging.There are a lot of different textures on each of the teethers. I did notice that the buttons do flex, but because they are made of a tougher silicone, they don't have that little pop noise to them.The teethers do come with 2 tethers so you have one for each. If you wanted to gift these, each one would be complete with teether and tether.The tethers are made of a non-stretchy material and the clips are completely plastic. No worries of metal teeth scratching baby or tearing clothing.These arrived with no instructions, so had to refer back to the seller's page for cleaning and care. They can go in boiling water or steamer to sterilize. They are also dishwasher and refrigerator safe.
