I think he hit a pothole really hard.Application guide says fits only FWD but checked Volvo parts diagrams for both FWD and AWD and part numbers are same. Tab on bearing mounts toward the inside of car aligning with positioning tab on strut. Top plate rotates to whatever position needed so no specific alignment needed although I aligned the green dot with mark on top plate. All complete, the index mark on top plate is 180 with tab on bearing. Not sure why but it works. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Replaced original strut mount part *by R***B on July 17, 2022* I hit a pothole a month ago and a clucking noise started after that when driving and the steering wheel vibrating after 60MPH. I had the whole front end done with brand new parts during the last two years. Two years ago I had two new front end struts installed, I reused the old strut mounts. Luckily that pothole busted my old strut mount only, on my "06 Mazda 3.
