Review: Lovely colour - I used this to change the colour of white towels i got , i put 3 towels in the machine and poured this in , they came out a lovely colour , but the colour does run in future washes , so when i washed them the first time i put an old white t shirt and a grey t shirt in with them to see what happens , The grey one had some plastic printed stuff on the front . so i thought that would go a bit wrong , but no it came out perfect and the printing on it was not effected by the dye at all it was no big loss if it went wrong , and they came out a lovely purple colour too , so had 2 for the price one in a way . I would wash these separately for future washes , because i do suspect the colour will run for quite a while . But they go well in my purple bathroom and am very happy with the results , Would certainly buy again .

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many kids shirts can I tie dye with 1 bottle of dye?**
A: I can easily do about 8 in a large plastic bin.

**Q: need a mop to look like grass green which color green would i use**
A: Apple Green is what I'd use.

**Q: Is 1 bottle enough to fully dye ladies white cotton pants?**
A: Yes, should be plenty. Good luck.

**Q: I need to dye a white hoodie the color of classic grey sweat pants, what grey is best?**
A: Unfortunately, there is no grey that is the grey you’re referring to. All dyes are built on pigment bases, and Rit dye tends to run slightly more purple. I would recommend trying to do a light tan underneath the Pearl grey dyes, and do swatch tests on scrap white fabrics first. You won’t be able to achieve the marle effect, but you will get a relatively flat dye. Hope this helps!

Excellent product, superb results. Worked well in my eashing machine. I used the Rit colour fix too

### ⭐ Cherry Red turned out pink on white polyester.
*by J***A on 18 November 2025*

The instructions on the bottle are so tiny, it's difficult to see even with magnifying glasses. I found the company's web site which had clear to see instructions how to use the dye read the instructions and followed them. I purchased 2 bottles of cherry red and followed the instructions on the company's web site. The results were very disappointing. The white polyester tablecloth turned out pink and nowhere near to cherry red. Waste of money and my time that resulted in a tablecloth that does not match my colour scheme.
