## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost perfect. Amazing sound, good comfort, customizable controls and decent ANC
*by on Reviewed in the United States June 20, 2026*

I bought a few models for comparison and had to decide on one to keep. The JBL Reflect Aero was #2.If I could keep both I would and if it was a dead tie I might have. These were the winner!Souncore Liberty 4 ANC had decent ANC but you can still faintly hear cancelled noises, it also doesn't do well with dynamic sound changes found in industrial environments, this leads to static instead of quiet. But it took #1 due to slightly better comfort, much easier seating in the ear (literally self aligning) and fully customizable touch controls. The hearing test with self programing EQ is really cool but you can get similar results with manual EQ and some practice. What did 2nd place have?Second place had superior ANC, it turned external noises off like a switch; not a trace left to hear. It was nearly an identical music experience (they sound the same) but when the music gets quiet your ears remain deaf to the outside world. The deal breaker for me: The touch controls have a few pre-set options but none of them seem to fit all my needs unless I use different settings for each ear. Fully programable touch controls and slightly better comfort would have made this so much better (Both are subjective).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good sound, good wind cancelling
*by on Reviewed in the United States July 14, 2023*

I've gone through several pairs of cheap and mid-price ear buds (< $100). Three I like are the earfun pro 3, 1more comfobuds pro, and now the Anker Liberty 4NC. Overall the Ankers win hands down. I think they have the best sound and by far the best wind resistance. After you load up their app and connect to the buds it gives you a hearing test to give a base level of response, then gives a bunch of A-B comparisons to a piece of music asking which one you prefer as it tweaks the response curve. I think the end result is great, but I'm no audiophile and am 65, so take that for what it is worth. The other two are good, too (I rate the 1more buds above the earfun's, but I like them all). I got the 1mores first, and if I were only going by sound quality I'd have stopped there (glad I didn't, but I didn't know that at the time!).I usually listen to them when I ride my bike on a local rails-to-trails path. The downfall of the 1mores is that there is a lot of wind noise that comes through. Noise cancelling overall is good, but not for wind. So I saw the earfuns on sale, so tried them. Much better wind noise reduction, but still more than I'd like. Finally I saw these and bought a pair on their launch. As I mentioned above the sound is great, and the wind noise reduction is very, very good. I hear a little from time to time, but most of the time I feel the wind on my face but can only hear it if I am really looking for it. They have a lot of modes you can set it too, but the one that works the best for me against wind is manual mode, maximum (level 5) noise cancelling with wind reduction on.They remember their settings no problem after you take them out of their case. The earfuns seemed to turn off sometimes (go back to non-cancelling mode). The worst thing about that in the earfun case is that in order to connect to the buds with their app you MUST have an internet connection. This was a problem on my last flight as you might imagine. The 1mores were great on the flight -- and no issues about connecting to the app in flight. It was a transatlantic flight and they ran out of juice so I switched to the earfuns for a while so they could get enough charge back into them. With the 1mores the engine noise and other extraneous airplane sounds were almost gone and I enjoyed my music. I have not flown with the Anker's yet. Hopefully they will do as well as the 1more's there (but I'll have the 1more's along just in case!). Supposedly the battery lasts longer in the Anker's, but only ride for about 3 hours at a time so I have not tested that. One final GREAT thing about the Ankers vs the others I've tried is that you can disable the on-bud controls. I always have my phone on my bike, so if I need to change modes I can do so. Since I found settings I like I don't need to anyway.... In the app you can select what every combination of taps does individually. And every combination has a do nothing setting. You'll still get a beep if you trigger the setting while inserting or wiggling the bud around, but it has no effect. Just what I want. If I want to skip a song my phone is right there, usually with the app up that is playing said songs.Sometimes I start hearing wind, and that just means the buds have slipped a bit. A quick twist or wiggle and the wind is gone. They've never fallen out, but I'm riding a recumbent so I'm just sitting in a lawn chair while I pedal.I use these only for listening to music. My wife called me when I was out while using the earfuns and she said I sounded fine. I have not used these so far to talk on the phone while I ride so I cannot speak to that.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This product has a known defect and the Soundcore does not know when it will be fixed.
*by on Reviewed in the United States February 12, 2026*

These earbuds WOULD be awesome if they worked properly. The noise cancelling is really bad. When it does work, it sounds amazing. But that only lasts a few minutes. Then you start losing bass randomly in each earbud. The sound increases and decreases randomly. I turned off all the touch features, reset them. Nothing worked. I contacted Soundcore support, who is great, and they had me send the buds to them and they shipped me a new pair. These had the problem worse. I went online and saw many posts saying it's a known issue and people are waiting for Soundcore to fix it. Here is a direct quote from their support:"We greatly appreciate your continued patience and support. Regarding the product issue you encountered, we have received the latest confirmation from the technical team and therefore wish to have an open and honest discussion with you.First, we would like to update you on the latest situation: After thorough investigation, our technical team has basically determined that the abnormal sound issue you are having may be related to the hardware and software interaction mechanism under specific usage scenarios (such as the tightness of the earbud insertion, sudden changes in ambient noise, etc.). This is a relatively complex low-level interaction issue, and the team is currently working diligently to resolve it completely through a subsequent firmware update. Therefore, we are suggesting a refund for you, primarily based on two considerations for you:1. Replacing the order may not fundamentally solve the problem:Since the root cause of the problem points to a specific interaction logic between the product firmware and hardware, even if we replace it with a brand new device, the new device is still highly likely to have similar issues under the same usage scenarios until the fixed firmware is officially released. We do not want you to have the same inconvenience and waiting again.2. Uncertainty Regarding the Repair Timeline:While our technical team is working tirelessly, fixing, testing, and verifying such underlying issues requires a rigorous timeframe. We cannot currently guarantee a specific firmware release date. Therefore, we believe that offering you a return and refund is the clearest, most responsible, and best way to protect your rights. This is not an attempt to evade the issue—on the contrary, it's precisely because we have thoroughly investigated the complexity of the problem and are unsure how long you will have to wait that we should not burden you with this uncertain risk."So I'm returning them. Great support. Would have been a great product if it actually worked. I thought that just using the Normal setting, but it does it there too. I really liked the idea of these. Very disappointed.UPDATE:I did some more searching and found some reddit posts talking about how the proprietary tips weren't deep enough. Following their advice I bought the SpinFit NEO for IEM in Medium. They were not easy to get on, but got them on the third try.The Result? MAJOR DIFFERENCE! Noise cancelling is way more stable, but still a little buggy. Still much better! They don't move in my ears and make a perfect seal. I have zero issues in normal or transparent mode now. The sound on these buds was always amazing, just inconsistent. These tips took care of that. So on to the buds. They have a lot of great features. The battery life is insane. They charge pretty quick. You need the app to really get the sound out. Once you customize your EQ, you get some serious sound. The touch controls are cool too, but I'm not a touch person so sometimes it gets annoying. Their customer service is too notch too.
