They feel thick and sturdy, yet are soft and breathable. I had to order 2 xl twin and 1 king since we have a split king bed. My only complaint is that the fitted xl twin and the king flat are different shades of the same color even though I ordered them at the same time. I would have thought that the dye lot would have been the same. Other than that these sheets are a great product for the price. I was also happy to be able to purchcase an extra couple of matching pillow cases scince I have four pillows on my bed. I had read the reviews and decided to give them a try anyway, as I liked the color... am so glad I did. I did not have any problems of the afore mentioned that others unfortunately had, though I do not know how they would do in the dryer, I air dry them.
