The build quality is nothing short of excellent, sound quality is very pleasing to my ear and the ambient light effect is an added bonus. I have them connected to my FiiO R7 which by the way is also a remarkable bit of kit. In the box is every conceivable cable you would require for connecting your music sources. On the back of the master speaker is volume knob, bass knob, input selection button, RGB effect selection button, L/R channel switch, power button, DC power input, Primary speaker output, Line 1&2 inputs and Secondary speaker input. The speakers ooze quality and have the sound reproduction to match. Highly recommended. Can't fault them, they look good, and a solidly built with "bigger" sound than they look capable off, but as already mentioned they are for near field, I.e. they ain't gonna fill a room with lush images as you listen. At my desk I have them set well so I get great imaging from them.
