I attempted replacement first without removing the panel under the glove box, but found it too difficult. So I ultimately removed the panel as well. The product comes with instructions, a pry tool, and a T20 wrench. It's a good value for the money. I changed the filters in a 2023 Tesla Model Y at pretty much 20,000 miles. When I pulled out the stock filters, they were honestly very clean. The new filters smell new/great and fit perfectly. Picture 1: The product kit and its contents. Picture 2: The side wall is exposed, and you can see the cabin air filter compartment. Picture 3: The panel under the glove box is removed and you can see the stock filter. Pretty solid upgrade for the Model Y. The BASENOR cabin air filter fits well and is super easy to install—took just a few minutes. Air in the cabin feels noticeably cleaner and fresher, especially with dust and outside odors. Hard to say long-term durability yet, but for the price it’s an easy DIY replacement that does the job well.
