Is 101cm the width? Thanks in advance** A: Hi, it is 101cm wide by 55cm deep by 116 high, the distance between the top shelf and the table is 35cm. I bought mine last December and it's been brilliant. The build quality is excellent. Table is wide enough to take a potting tray and leave enough room for pots etc. I've also screwed mine to the shed wall for extra stability . Would definitely recommend. **Q: Hello, has anyone kept this outside all year round for at least 2 years and how is it now?** A: Yes, I keep mine outside all year round, and it's still perfectly fine. I have stood it up on bricks under each leg, although it sits on gravel, just to give extra protection, and height, as I am tall! I would advise this certainly if standing on a softer surface like grass or hardcore. The galvanised shelves just need wiping over after the winter, and the undercover shelf is very useful for protecting plants from the worst weather and frosts! **Q: what is depth of upper shelf and what type of wood used in main body ie has wood got knots?** A: The depth of the upper shelf is a shade over 22cm. The wood looks like it is some type of treated softwood. There are some knots but not many and they are not troublesome. It has been outside in all weathers for about 10 months and look fine. **Q: Is the top heat resistant? I want to use it to rest a portable bbq on.** A: The top is wooden covered with a sheet of metal (steel). The metal is only a few mm thick,so not sure it would resist much heat getting through to the wood below.It is a robust table and we are very pleased with it for greenhouse use, but it is basically wooden so must be a fire risk I suppose when in contact with a barbecue. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great potting bench *by N***L on 24 January 2016* Arrived a week after ordering. Very nicely put together, well finished and good quality. Zinc finish looks great too. Minor niggle is there are no assembly instructions, just a drawing and a parts list so you have to figure it out but it is easy for one person to assemble. Note, the four small screws hold the table to the frame with the longer screws used elsewhere. Would recommend.
