I feel like they are more suited to a general living environment rather than a studio where the idea is to absorb as much broadband sound as possible. Panels this thin can't absorb any low end but I've put the up in my bedroom that was suffering from flutter echoes and high frequency ringing and they've done a decent job of calming that down.
