Most likely to be a heated wire inside a ceramic or some other insulating sheath within the aluminium tubing of the dryer **Q: whats the maximum weight it can take?** A: Not sure but I hang lots of fairly wet clothes on it (I hand wash and hand wring) it appears strong. I love it, it's very wide and you can get lots on. ## Frequently Bought Together - AMOS 230 Electric Heated Dryer Cover, Grey - Status Heated Clothes Airer | Aluminium Clothes Drying Rack | Winged Electric Clothes Dryer Rack | AHCA-220W1PKB --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/534037079-amos-230-electric-heated-dryer-cover-grey](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/534037079-amos-230-electric-heated-dryer-cover-grey) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
