Review: Impressive spec, low quality - Dispite some impressessive specifications, the phone just doesn't quite add up to the advertised. The camera is distincly average, especially when compared with the Google Pixel 6. The feel of the phone was cheap - and it turned out to be: Build quality is shocking - within weeks of owning the audio jack failed, and 11 months later the screen cracked whilst in my pocket. No rough handling, never dropped. With the lack of updates (Android 14), and previous experiances with HTC support, I shall not be buying an HTC device again for quite some time. Thank god for desertcart buyer protections!

Dispite some impressessive specifications, the phone just doesn't quite add up to the advertised. The camera is distincly average, especially when compared with the Google Pixel 6. The feel of the phone was cheap - and it turned out to be: Build quality is shocking - within weeks of owning the audio jack failed, and 11 months later the screen cracked whilst in my pocket. No rough handling, never dropped. With the lack of updates (Android 14), and previous experiances with HTC support, I shall not be buying an HTC device again for quite some time. Thank god for Amazon buyer protections!
