Columbian's technology for applying porcelain creates a durable, chip resistant product that will last most families a lifetime. Review: Very good product. Learn how to use properly. - Light, appropriate size, non stick, just leave soaking and all residues come out with a sponge. I bought all dishes, pots and pans from this company. They are reluable and I love that with proper care, they last a lifetime. They do not leak unless you tyrn upside down, and who will do that. Use soft wooden spoons even on eating plates. They get very hot, of course, so use less heat to cook, and pot holders to handle. Hold firm when moving food in it because given that they are light weight, it can slide of the stove if you do not securily hold with a pot holder while handling.

**Q: Hello, Do you happen to know where this pot was made?  Thanks!**
A: I think the pot was made in Mexico

**Q: So the dimensions given above say 10.6 x 8.6 x 6 inches. Is the 10.6 the width with the handle, 8.6 without the handle and the 6" the bottom width?**
A: The 10.6 is with the handle; the 8.6 is the top w/out handle; 6" is the height

**Q: Can this be used to cook on a charcoal grill?**
A: Yes.  I don't see why not.  Mine has been used on top of gas grill and was ok.   Of course this pot should not be heated up when empty.

**Q: Why do they say not to use on glass top stoves.**
A: From my experience with using a granite ware pot with trying to boil water, the glass only heats up so much and turns off, it gradually gets up to temp, this would be to prevent the glass from cracking and breaking. I would say it boils down to an efficiency issue, since granite ware cookware typically has grooves in the bottom of the pots, it won’t heat efficiently, especially with boiling water.
