Cheap, Lightweight, Minimalist Sleeping Pad.
Pros: Lightweight, Cheap, Quick drying, Comfortable for my sleeping styleCons: Tears relatively easily when compared to more expensive foam mats, becomes mildly damp if in contact with wet ground (Ground side only, not soaking through).I recommend a ground sheet at a minimum for outdoor use. And a bivy, tent, or elevated sleeping area is your best bet in a downpour. For the price, this mat simply cannot be beat. I'm 6'1 and 175lbs. The regular 375 is my full time bed, whether at home or backcountry camping. After using this for two years, my daily use mat has compressed to be roughly 60% of its original thickness. See comparison photo of my lightly used spare vs everyday mat, both regular 375s.Carrying this on the outside of my pack has led to some small tears along the edges from sticks and thorns. But overall it has held up alarmingly well for what it is. If you normally sleep on a plush mattress you'll feel every bump when using the 375 mat in the bush. However, being a minimalist and sleeping on this full time, (on carpet + mat at home, and just the 375 mat while in the bush), I hardly notice a difference anymore. In regards to a review on these not wanting to unroll and stay unrolled. These are mats of habit. If you store it rolled 24/7 that will be its natural state, the opposite is also true. My everyday use mat is stored flat or very loosely rolled most of the time, and being nicely broken in, it lays flat effortlessly.I'd recommend this to anyone getting into camping or backpacking on a budget. That was my reasoning for the purchase two years ago, and today I can't rationalize spending any more on an advanced foam or air pad. This gets the job done!

Nice and light, but not as thick or wide as others.
Bought this for my 12 year old son, and it's a perfect balance between weight and comfort for him. But it's too thin and too narrow for my 5' 11" 195 lb. adult frame. Really nice pad - just not substantial enough for a full sized adult.

Lightweight, Simple, and Reliable
There is not much to discuss about this product for it's design has been tested over and over again. It's a foam pad. It serves the purpose of keeping the ground from freezing you to death. If it's taken care of properly, it will last you a lifetime. They also fixed the smell issue. It smells strongly of a good purchaseRecommendations:- For those who want ultralight weight, but excepts the bulk of it- For those who accept the regular amount of padding (More padding is only acceptable in winter conditions)- For those who want reliability. No way that this is going to deflate like Tom Brady's footballs or get ripped in half like your heart in the 7th gradeRecommendations if you purchase this:- Use it as a splint for your buddy who just broke theie leg. They need it since they only have a inflatable air pad probably- Break open a ice cold beer, you bought a something camping relatedI hope that this review was helpful in guiding you to the best possible purchase of a bed

Versatile, cheap, lightweight!
The new backpacking air mattresses are great because they pack down so small. But using them presents 2 problems - they have virtually no insulation compared to self-inflaters, and they are more delicate & subject to puncture.Enter the Alps mat. This mat weighs almost nothing. It can be strapped to the outside of your pack & you don't need to worry about accidental puncture. In the tent, spread the mat on the ground under your air mattress for that extra insulation you need. The mat also makes a great sit pad when you're having lunch or a rest.

Lightweight
I bought the regular .325 mat and it weighs only 9oz. Great for minimalist backpackers, but I had it strapped on the outside of my pack once and was hiking through thorns and had it get sliced and torn in a couple of places. With it being this lightweight foam I should have expected this, but did not plan for it. I would recommend putting it inside of a pack or getting a waterproof cover for it. If using this for just basic camping I would go up on the thickness as the weight is not as much of an issue.

SO Happy ! May carry it with me out of the state of Hawai'i :)
Comfortable even at 20" across for a side sleeper or lying on back for me - 5'5" and @110-115 pounds. Great color Green - a restful and warm subtle olive color. Planning to use it until I leave Hawai'i and maybe even carry it. Very comfortable.... for permanent use and yes I could afford to spend more; I like simplicity and responded to one person who wrote that he uses it permanently and is happy with it... he even posted photographs of how it stands up to use. Shockingly light. Well; that's that. I threw out my old bedding; just the perfect start for the process of getting out of this apartment and this state.

Bulky, but solid
I'm perfectly happy with this sleep pad. It is bulky, but works just fine.

I've found that a lot of the negative reviews for this product are because it is slightly uncomfortable to sleep on. While it does make sense that they're not enjoying their product, it's a really affordable mat that is also extremely lightweight (what backpackers want). Sure it can't compete with your tempur-pedic mattress, it's not supposed to. It's lightweight, it's cheap, it rolls up tight, it does the job.

worked great
Used while hiking, could have maybe been a little thicker, but its cheaper and lighter, and I enjoyed it enough. I am planning to use it on a hike again next year.

More comfortable than I thought
The comfort was better than I thought, even tho it's far from being actually "comfortable" (obviously). I had a decent night of sleep on it. The material that it is made of feels very cheap, but it's normal for that price...so make sure to take care of it so it doesn't wear off quickly. Overall, for the price, a rating of 4/5 seems pretty fair to me.
