I normally wear a 9-9.5 shoe, but the Ecco 9-9.5 were too big, and I had to go down to 8-8.5. Those fit great! I wore them around the house for about an hour the day they arrived, and I found them to be quite comfortable. Then I took them to the golf course for four straight days and four 18 hole rounds. They are the most comfortable, stable, golf shoes I have ever owned.If I knew for sure they were water resistant, I would probably have rated them 5 stars, but I don't know that for sure. Since I live in the desert, I'm not worried about that potential drawback.I did relace the shoes so that they were laced on the "outside" of the eyelets rather than the "inside". I think that makes them more comfortable. Try them...you'll like them! ### ⭐⭐ Not the best Ecco shoes I have bought *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2013* I am a huge fan of Ecco shoes, both golf and off course shoes. I have owned 5 pairs of their golf shoes and have owned at least 5 pairs of street shoes. This is the first time I have been disappointed. The uppers are not the same quality leather that my other shoes are. In fact, I was not even sure they were leather until I went back and checked out the specs on line. They have the look, feel and smell of some rubber or plastic like synthetic. They also are not as comfortable as any of my other shoes. I can't put my finger on it, but the moment I slipped my foot into them, I could tell the difference. I wore them out on the course anyway, and they are more comfortable than traditional golf shoes, just not up to what I expect from Ecco. They are very comfortable and have held up well to outings that include too much time in the rough or desert. The only time I don't wear these are when it is very wet.
