**Q: can these fit a 280lbs person with large legs**
A: Im 320lbs my legs r also big. My calf circumference is 25". There's an elastic for the bottom connection so it flexes as u run or walk. These should fit no problem.  And I wear them over my pants. Also over my hunting suit. So I think u should be fine

**Q: Hi, The straps connector, is it plastic or metal?**
A: The strap connectors aren't metal.  They seem to be a type of impact resistant polymer.  I have had mine for 4 years and they haven't broken at all during hunting seasons, some construction and air soft games.

**Q: Are these big for someone 5'4 ?**
A: you should be just fine.... we have not had any issues for the petite side.

**Q: Will this fit women? (I'm 5'5" average/thin weight) Seems like most people reviewing these knee pads are men...**
A: Yes they do tighten pretty tight, a friend of mine out them on and they fit her fine. She is on the smaller scale of women and to be honest they are easy to change the straps if you wanted or needed to put tighter straps on them
