My expectations were set middling when ordering this quirky looking watch. How wrong I was! I've always loved chunky watches with serious wrist presence and this model has it in spades.I read all previous reviews before ordering, so was expecting a flimsy strap - not so - it's a rigid leather that can be bent and worked to sit comfortably on the wrist.Other colourways are available, but for me the honeyed golden yellow, fine check dial and rich brown strap is the real head turning combination.I'm only on day three of ownership, so cannot comment on timekeeping accuracy, not that that really matters to me as I purchased the watch purely for its unique look. The bold red second hand has a beautifully smooth sweep, while the watch ticks away very quietly.I really am delighted with this ridiculously inexpensive watch. The only reason for docking a star is that the watch case has a plain metal back, which is a shame, as a glass window to the mechanical movement would have been icing on an otherwise delicious cake! That aside, realistically, please count this as a five star review *****P.S. Don't make the error of wearing it in the bath! Water got into the dial and mechanism and totally wrecked the watch. I'm now going with 2.5 stars. Watches really should be able to cope with brief water immersion! What a shame and disappointment!

I took a risk and bought a second of these watches. The first one was not reliable: the hand winding mechanism did not work at all, and the winding-by-movement worked only sometimes, but would not build up a useful power reserve. Consequently, on days when I was very active, the watch would sometimes work all day, and when it did, it kept good time. However most of the time I would get it going and it would stop within half an hour. And some days I could not persuade it to work at all.Hence I took a risk and bought a second, and this one works perfectly.So now I have the chance to open up the first to see how a mechanical watch works, and perhaps find a way to mend it. That I am looking forward to enormously.

The watch it’s self is quirky and different and so far has kept good time. The strap wasn’t very robust, and kept breaking, so I replaced it.

What a chuffin bargain. Wow! Looks so different than the norm. I bought one in black too ! Everyone comments on it when I’ve got it on It looks like a £4000 watch I have an omega and a sub merited but this watch deffo gets more comments !! Buy before these sell out. AND THEY WILL. Fantastic purchase 👍

The watch looks wonderful, feels heavy & on inspection looks well made. I was so happy when I put it on, very eye catching, original & the price is excellent... 12hrs later I noticed it was running about 30 seconds slow & yes, I had followed the instructions, wound the watch 15 times in the morning & I was active all day. I'm 4 days into it now, loses nearly one minute in 24hrs... which although the watch looks fantastic, is no good to man or beast! Not worth the hassle to return... what did I expect for £30 odd??? A watch that tells the correct time... Laugh!

For this price, what's not to love? I too collect watches and whilst this isn't anywhere near a premium timepiece or even a fashion watch, it caught my eye because of its unique shape. A triangle watch?I'm a fan of automatic watches and so far it's kept time nicely. Love the yellow colour and the case has a kind of retro feel and has a slight but deliberate tarnishing to the silver which adds to the impression of age.The leather strap is stiff at first but a little gentle flexing and it fits comfortably.Overall it is a fine addition to my collection and certainly ticks the unusual box!

It's a mechanical watch that you have to wind up, didn't realise they are still made. Only draw back it runs down fairly quickly.
