By the time you figure in the cost of the parts ( wire, switch, crimps/connectors, not to mention a relay if you are using one) to hardwire a set of lights, let alone the time to assemble, this set up is cheaper by far. harness length is ample, you get a pair of pigtails with connectors for a pair of lights, the relay, switch, fuse block and fuse, and ring terminals for power all assembled for what a switch and some wire would cost. Made everything quick, cheap, and easy.
Review: Great wiring harness for light installations. - This is a great wiring harness for LED lights. These come in one or two leads application. All that means is that they come ready for one or two lights, depending on your installation. The plug in connectors for each light comes with the set so that is a plus. I’ve attached a picture of the plug/connector for the lights so you can take a look at them. Although the relay is an “overkill” for low wattage LEDs, it’s OK to have it just in case you decide to change your lights for larger ones or halogens, in the future. In my case I will be using this harness in my motorcycle. It is very long for my need, which is great for cars, but too long for motorcycles since you have to remember that room/space is scarce in motorcycles. I ended up cutting the wires to my desired length and using heat shrink butt connectors and “glued” heat shrink covers for waterproofing the connection points. All in all these are great quality and I am very happy with them.

**Q: Anyway to buy a replacement switch?**
A: A hundred different three-terminal, lighted on/off switches could do the same thing, but...effectively no, for plug-n-play. Theyre made in China for these 40 amp wire sets. If the $13 for this set is too steep to rebuy it just for the switch, try the Northpole jeep 40 amp LED harness for $9. That's more than reasonable to get an exact match switch with quick-connect plug and however many feet of wire, plus extra DT pigtails and relay.

**Q: Are each ends independently wrapped or are both wrapped in the same sheath?**
A: Your question is difficult to understand. Which ends, and which sheath? The wiring harness comes as pictured. The switch, and the two male ends on the wires and harness. The female ends come so they can be wired to whatever you are trying to power. The female ends are the ones in the picture that has the wire sheath partially stripped at the end for easy removal and installation to whatever you are trying to power. The relay is already wired, with all the wires running in to a one piece connector that holds all the wires and only plugs in one way to the relay. And the inline fuse. Can you be more specific with your question?

A: It's will fit in any vehicle or ATV and boat you just have to find a way to guide it with out been expose.

**Q: Can you disable the LEDs on the switch?**
A: You can turn your LED light bar off and on with the switch. If you are referring to the little LED light on the switch, no you cannot.

If you have a set of LED lights that didn't come with a harness , you can't beat this for the price.
