This book will teach you the basics of virtualization in a very fun way
I had to read this book for my Linux and Virtualization class. I really had no idea of the concept. I had previously heard what virtualization was and how it was used mainly for cybersecurity but after reading this book, I have a very good understanding of what it is and how it is pretty much used everywhere in the modern world. For anyone interested in learning about IT or any student out there this book is a 10/10. Not a long read or boring in any way.

No substance of worth
I’ve been using virtualization for a long time, both in the data center as well as for personal use. I’m looking for a good reference book that dives deep into underlying technologies so that I may be a better user and consumer of virtualization. To that end, this book is not the answer. In fact, I’ve read comic books with more substance. Half the book is full of useless screenshots; the other half is useless fluff.

Zero info for Mac users and admins
Glad I read the Kindle sample first and then checked the index available here. There’s zero info on Macs. Not useful for a lot of us who need VMs on the Mac.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE TO EXPOUND ON
An easy topic that is covered completely. Besides being on an actual computer and being taught hands on, this book is clearly ment to be read and reread. I have found it's history on virtualization and its examples are helpful for connecting to the realm of information technology.
