He has a wider foot and they fit great. He can get them on himself once we got them tightened originally. He finds them comfortable and he skates even better than he did with the old pair. So let that be a warning to you - only give roller blades in the spring or summer if you want them to be an outdoor activity! I love that they are adjustable for growing feet (and so they can be donated or handed down when they get bored of them). Also, there were no complaints about discomfort or blisters, which is good, but we'll see how it goes when the weather improves.
