They work great for that. And heavy prying I wouldn't use. Great product for what I need. **Q: Where is this product made?** A: Since the name of the company that supposedly manufactures this item is Star Asia, USA, llc,dab Titan I would bet that it is made in Asia, probably China or Taiwan. **Q: Can you pry open a locked car door with this?** A: The answer is ...... maybe/possibly, with the large bar in small increments over time. I would not try to use these on anything but wood projects.
