**Q: Do the mm sizes vary for the part that goes through the hole? I bought 4mm and they dont fit in the preexisting holes.**
A: I guess they must do. I bought 4mm too and they fitted perfectly. The item description says "Cockspur Window Handle Wedges / Striker Plate - 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm" so you have a choice.

**Q: Are these also available in brown?**
A: Not  sure but put in brown window wedges if they do they should come up

**Q: Do you know what screws I need for this?**
A: No screws needed.Just put a drop of adhesive on the back and push into position.

**Q: Is there a standard distance between the holes that all wedges, including these, fit? What is the distance between the plugs on these wedges?**
A: The wedges fitted the existing holes on my windows.Didn’t measure the distance at the time of fitting but had to add some strong adhesive to keep them in place.

Did what I needed, although I did need to drill out original holes slightly to make them a little larger for the wedge to fit.
