The company provided both windscreen mount and also air con grill mount. The item itself it intuitive. There are three switches in total. Two buttons on the bottom left and right side of the mount causes the phone arm mechanism to loosed. Once you place the phone against the pad, the weight of the phone activates a switch to close the phone mechanism. The mechanism stops as soon as resistance is felt ensuring a tight grip against the phone, but not too much that can cause damage. Another addition is that, if you do not want to charge the phone, the mechanism to secure the phone still works indicating an internal battery. This allows the item to be used as a phone mount without the need to be plugged in. There are LED lights, Red light shows the item that nothing is charging, a pulsating blue light shows that the device is charging. This may be a distraction to some. The overall unit is made from rigid plastic and rubber and feels well built. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Actually I've never been so excited about a car mount *by E***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2018* Actually I've never been so excited about a car mount!Received this item for several days. It works perfectly for my smartphone, with no issues with my phone case. Charging is fast.This thing is so cool, it sticks REALLY WELL, and because I need the center of my windshield for my dash cam, I put this mount on the left edge of the windshield, left of the steering wheel. It came with a nice long micro USB cable that is plenty long to run behind my steering wheel and down to my adapter.This is so quick and easy to use. You just set your phone in it and the little arms on the side close in on the phone, then to release it, there's a little button on both sides. You just gently click the buttons and it opens up.
