Review: Best Reading light - I really like this light. Both functionally and ergonomically it fits the bill. The challenge of having a good bright light source on your book (or knitting or whatever) is something that's annoyed me for a long time. I've tried various headlamps and gooseneck lamps over time but always find the lighting to indirect, or variable, or bright (to someone trying to sleep in the room, for example) this light is nice and bright (three settings), the way it drapes around your neck with soft padding is great, and the way you can twist and bend each side to aim the light right where you want it are all very well done. I even wear it if I'm up walking around the house at night so that I'm not turning on lights and disturbing people. Technically I got this for my wife but may have to buy a second one for her.

A: The reading light color is cool white (no blue), it is bright for reading books at night.

**Q: I need this light for cross stitching. Is it bright enough to see all the little holes?**
A: I just received mine today.  The lights are NOT bright enough to me.  I'm using it in daytime, with overhead lighting, to add light for fine drawing work.  The Vekkia lights, even with all four LEDs running, adds very little light compared to a single LED handheld flashlight that I often hold in my mouth for the same work.  I'm super disappointed with this product.

**Q: Does it indicate when it is fully charged?**
A: When the indicate light change from red to green.

**Q: Will the telephone charger from an iPhone 8 work with this?**
A: Yes, you can use this iPhone 8 charger to charge this hug light.  Conncet the phone charger and charging cable(included), then you can charge it correctly.

I used the Vekkia Rechargeable LED Neck Reading Light on a 6-hour flight, and it worked perfectly. The light was bright enough for reading but focused so it didn’t disturb anyone around me, which was a big plus. It’s comfortable to wear around the neck, easy to adjust, and the battery lasted the entire flight without needing a recharge. This is a great travel accessory and I’ll definitely be using it again.
