Because of the barcodes on the capsule you’ll get different results.I have a Vertuo Next machine.First I made one cut across a Stormio mug capsule.Peeled off the foil in two halves.It’s impossible to remove all the tiny bits of foil around the outer edge because it’s stuck so well and is stuck to the plastic which covers the bar code underneath the capsule - so don’t be too OCD about it - just peel the foil off where the silicone lid sits.Cleaned the old coffee out and rinsed cap.Dried and filled capsule to 4mm below top of capsule. I used a lavazza rossa blend for the Stormio Mug 230 ml capsule.“IMPORTANT” - you have to leave room in the capsule for the silicone lid to fit into the capsule. Fill coffee to 4mm below the top. If you overfill with coffee, when using the machine water which is under pressure tends to push the lid up and out of the capsule and the machine will faultIf this happens, just flick the lever to the off position - remove capsule - and run a cleaning cycle and try again, with less coffeeBut don’t panic it won’t break.Make sure the silicone lid is flush / flat and not bulging with coffee and you’ll be ok. If you put too little coffee in you’ll just get a weaker cup of coffee but it won’t hurt the machine and it won’t fault.Because it’s made of silicone I don’t think these lids will be able to damage anything and the machine prongs that go into the capsule don’t even touch the silicone lid on the outer edge by the look of it where the holes are.It’s the main reason why I chose a silicone lid and not a metal one.These lids have not made my machine leak even once and we’ve used it dozens of times already. We’ve even found we haven’t needed to run extra cleaning cycles - it will save us a fortune and already is - fantastic product I would highly recommend.Well done to the manufacturer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfectly! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 January 2025* These are great, I really don't understand the negative comments at all!As instructed, dont overfill them, I'd say half a cm below the rim. Pop it in the machine, and bobs your uncle, perfectly brewed coffee! They wash easy and I've reused mine a few times now. They're a perfect fit. I cut the foil off of the pods, refill with a coffee from the shop and pop the lid on.
