Review: Awesome 3rd party camera fitting well on 2026 RX350H - Just installed front 4K dash cam in 2026Rx350h. Installation video provided by Fitcamx was a bit too short and not detailed for the HW installation. Overall not bad. The most difficult part of Hardware was taking original cable connector and made small crack on one side handle. Be cautious on this process. During SW installation, I faced camera connection fails. Make Bluetooth off first, then connect camera thru WiFi made it successful. 4K camera was amazing. So satisfied after all.
Review: Excellent fit and OEM styling - if you have a compatible auto model this is the best option. - I have a 2024 Lexus RX 350 Premium. This dashcam replaces the windshield cover over the adaptive cruise control sensor. It was a little bit of work to get it installed but it fits perfectly and looks like a factory OEM part. Because it replaces the existing cover on the windshield above the mirror, it does not block my view at all. The installation takes some patience, especially when routing the power cable, so just take your time and don't force anything. The price was incredibly low when compared to a factory option. The WiFi app is a little clunky if you use Android Auto because the car tries to connect every couple of minutes. The manual says to disable BlueTooth but that did not make a difference for me. The setup and configuration are simple and straight forward and it's relatively easy to download images from the camera. The Micro SD card is very easy to remove as well. So much better than a suction cup mounted dashcam!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do I need to connect the dash cam everytime? Can I use CarPlay/Bluetooth as usual?**
A: You don't need to keep camera connected as it will auto-record after car starts. You only need to connect the camera in the need of viewing or downloading video. No affect the normal use of CarPlay or Bluetooth

**Q: Where is the video stored? Can I view video anytime i want?**
A: The video is auto-saved in SD card, not phone. 1. Only if you've downloaded footage to your phone in advance, you can watch it even off the car or remotely. 2. You can also watch it on computer by intserting SD card

**Q: With front 4k camera installed, can I add a rear cam separately?**
A: NO, because the PCB boards are different between single front and dual version.

**Q: Is the dash cam featured with Parking Sensor? And is it 24h recording?**
A: Not all FlTCAMX dash cams has parking sensor, you need extra harness to upgrade with this function. And there are 24h and non-24h recording option, please confirm with FlTCAMX for more details.

**Q: Why dash cam gets hot?**
A: It's normal situation but no worry. 1. The surrounding space of camera is small, and the original parts nearby will cause high temperature. 2. The camera is under windshield which is in direct sunlight by day.
