Springtail Food Josh's Frogs Spring to Life Food is an all natural complete diet for springtails (Collembola). It provides carbohydrates, trace minerals, and proteins that are essential to the growth and production of springtails. Why to Use This is great for both the Springtails in your culture and in your vivarium. Springtails in a culture do not receive the benefits of a bioactive setup and must be fed supplemental food. Also, while Springtails in your bioactive vivarium do have organic debris to feed on, Spring to Life completes their diet with nutrition that isn’t otherwise available. How to Use Spring to Life is a powder and comes in a shaker container to make it easy to add to your cultures. Just sprinkle a little on top of your charcoal or soil once a week.

(cheap at any grocer) but have since installed an R/O water system in my house so 1+ on distilled water and 4+ on R/O water. this food works! (Tropical Pink/White)

**Q: Can you put this in your vivarium?**
A: It shouldn’t hurt anything to do a light dusting of food till your tank is established and it would be fine. Then I’d cut back on the use the more established your tank is, it’s going to be by judgement really. The stuff work great though and it last forever, my guys are thriving on it.

**Q: Can this be used in a snail enclosure? Ie: is there salt or copper in it ?**
A: There are small amounts of copper, we are unsure if it would be a good fit for snails at this time.

**Q: Why is the price double what josh's frogs website sells for?**
A: Amazon pricing includes shipping and Amazon selling fees.
