Hi Chris, I bought the Hibermate Sleep Mask - Pitch Black on the 11th October as I am struggling to get to sleep in town with lots of background noise through the night. Unfortunately I am a side-sleeper and no amount of soft pillows nor tweaking the ear-pads etc could make the ear-muffs settle down. I constantly felt like my head was rocking on the earmuffs due to the solid structures. If only there was a way to make them more flexible -maybe some kind of gel-filled edges like you sometimes get as wrist-rests on mouse-pads? I also found the straps to be too tight, even on maximum extension. I know I don't have an above average head size and I also see that many other users have mentioned this issue. Seems a no-brainer to fix. I'm sure with a bit of use there would be some give in the tautness, however a bit of use would necessitate wearing it, which is uncomfortable and certainly not conductive to a good night's sleep. All in all, this product was worse than nothing for the straightforward issue I have. I suspect if the strap were a little looser I might keep it for long journeys, but for lying down it makes it harder, not easier, to sleep (in fact I was unable to drop off to sleep while wearing it and hurled it at the wall in a fit of frustration somewhere around 2 am - sorry). I don't know what your returns policy is or how you aim to resolve customer complaints, but since you left a card asking politely for negative feedback to be sent to the company first, I figured I'd at least give you a chance.
