I want to put a tank on it that is 48 inches long.** A: The previous answer is correct, except... I presume you mean 48 inches, not 48 feet as typed. I don't know if it applies to this unit (Amazon combines feedback from different shelves as long as the generic subject is the same) but my shelf poles came as 2 separate poles that screwed together for each corner. If you wanted to make 2-36" tall units, you could put the rollers on one and the stationary legs on the other. Your tank would fit on the top of one of these as long as it was less than 18" deep. You night have to add a 1/4" spacer on the shelf to bring it up to the top of the lip of the pole mount.Hope this gives you some options.Mike **Q: Are the shelves adjustable? Like can i put them close to each other?** A: Not adjustable. Unfortunately I only saw the first answer that was wrong and ordered this. **Q: Are there 6 plastic shelf liners included?** A: No, but go to COSTCO. They sell a roll of 18" wide heavy duty shelf liner you can cut to fit. Can probably line all six shelves for $15 or less. **Q: are the wheels included? If not I won't order now...** A: Yes, they are included. I have a lot of weight on mine (500# weight limit with wheels OFF else 100#s with them ON). The shelving must be emptied before moving. I have 4 of these commercial shelves I store canned goods on some, baking supplies, heavy pots and pans and overflow dishes. I suggest you purchase shelf liners if you have small items that can fall through the wires or items that you don't want to tip. I can just glance at the shelving for inventory, if I am missing an item or locating an item. It’s easy to put together and the build is strong and looks great in general. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A well done Item and worth the money! *by M***, on February 24, 2025* When was the last time you ordered an item that obviously needed assembly and didn't eventually require ever tool that you owned? Well this is NOT one of those items. Absolutely no tools required for assembly. Packaging though is a bit frustrating as many of the parts are shrink wrapped individually then shrink wrapped again into groups of four. Smaller parts are in sealed bags that are easily torn open. The design, for lack of a better term is; "elegant" as it simply works flawlessly.The one thing that is a bit confusing and I only mention it to help any future buyers; in that the packaging materials are listed in the parts list and there are parts listed that are already attached to the upright pieces. So if you are in the habit of sorting out the parts first before assembly note the following: The floor levelers are already attached to 8 of the upright supports and you won't see this unless you unwrap all of the uprights. Why there is 8 though is beyond me because the bottom only requires 4. Needless to say 4 of the levelers have to be unscrewed and replaced with threaded couplers that are in one of the parts bags. The other items are the upright encaps which have to pried off all of the uprights except the final 4 that will be on the top.The only other thing was the package was obviously opened and the parts removed from the box at some point as all the wire ties that held the shelves in place were all cut and the box was not factory sealed. Machines simply don't seal all sides of a box; it's one swipe down the center and done.
