I wired the light to a 12volt 1.5watt transformer. Only the first 3 feet of the fiber cable lit up. I played with it, but there isn't much you can do as far as adjustments go. Okay, maybe the transformer is on the fritz. I took it outside and hooked it to my car battery. 3 feet of cable lit up. I went in the house, logged on to Amazon and set up a return.
