By reading some of the other questions looks like the coals last about an hour.** A: The point is not how hot the fire gets but to answer your question, my temp runs about 400 degrees. The coals last longer than an hour as my wings take between 50-60 minutes to be done. I always have coals left over as I close the vents and re-use them again. The way the vortex works is to direct the heat directly up to the top of the kettle lid and then down the side turning it into a convection oven for the most part. **Q: What are the dimensions and what is it made out of?** A: Its made of SS304, the dimensions, one could rightfully guess you want to copy it, but know this, unless you know stuff like: Genatrix Length, circular arc radius, °a, 🈷*d, etc... Just figure on buying it. There is quite a bit of engineering magical mathmetics envolved that you dont know how to do, with volume, air mass, heat suspension, all that geek stuff, so spend the 50 bucks and use the piss out of it like the rest of us.
