Would buy again without hesitation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for Hobbyist *by S***T on February 4, 2025* As a first year keeper, I bought this as an economical way to extract my honey without having to rely on anyone else. I am pretty happy with how it works. I bolted mine to a wood base, which also allows me to stand on it for extra support. It's easy to use and seems to extract the honey well. My only complaint is with the plexiglass covers. I had to trim a little off the plastic pins that sit inside the extractor to hold the covers in place because the frames hit them while spinning. That fixed the issue, but the cover design is just not great. For a few dollars more, they could have just put hinges on them and it would have been a much better design. I'll probably retrofit mine with hinges next season. All in all, it works well for a hobbyist. After using it, I don't see any reason I'll ever upgrade to electric.
