I have been using this for many years. We have a lot of wood to take care of in a hot and humid environment. It does all the good things as described by the manufacturer. My wood still looks like new after 23 years. I always get compliments on how great it looks when we have visitors. It's very easy to use. If the wood has a lot of dirt on it I will wipe it off with a damp cloth first. Then spray on a clean cloth or soft paper towel and wipe it across the wood making sure all of the area is covered. It even smells nice and I'm very sensitive to fragrances. The result is a rich, healthy looking wood where the natural grain shines through. If you are looking for high gloss this is not your product. This is by far the best product for wood that I have found. Since we had to put all our antique and Amish furniture in storage for nearly 5 years, when we took it out of storage, it had a weathered dry look. So I had my husband get Scott's Liquid Gold and after a couple of applications and wiping it off. It totally restored the oak furniture and the Maple furniture. It did not look dried out and old anymore. I would certainly recommend this product for even used yearly to continue keeping your furniture in the best condition possible. It gave a really nice shine. Even though it may look oily taking another soft rag and wiping off the residue or oily. It really comes out nice even with no streaks. Try this and you will definitely like.
