The roller is really interesting - if you roll it one way, it kind of forces the skin apart and it gives a lovely relaxing stretch, and then when you roll it the other way, it kind of brings the skin back together again, so it kind of mimics what human hands can do. I use it along the side and back of my neck and along the tops of my shoulders/trapezoids where I hold a lot of tension and it's really helpful. I also have carpel tunnel and the handle is really well formed and wide enough to grip without it being an issue as well.
