**Q: Are these safe to use for hot food? I want to be able to decant hot soup into these to transport to customers.**
A: I made stuffing using recently boiled hot water and they were fine

**Q: Are these tubs ok to store paint - I have bought Cuprinol in steel tins which are starting to rust. Do lids seal well & remove easily?**
A: I have used these to mix and store cellulose paint , lids seal and open easily . They have suited my needs perfectly .

**Q: What is the bucket's width at its widest point (including handles)?**
A: My ones are square and the widest point is 9", I don't deal in foreign measurements.  Hope that helps

**Q: Can these be put in freezer**
A: I havnt tried that but the lid is solid enough so i would try it if i had to

I bought this product to store excess paint. Am very pleased with it. The buckets are robust enough for the job and good value for money

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not food safe

I have bought this type of tub before in various sizes from other suppliers and they have all had the food safety logo (glass and fork) on the base and lid. The tubs offered here do not have the food safety logo anywhere on them. I don't mind as I did not buy them for food storage but other buyers need to be aware. You could, of course, put food into food safe packaging and then into the tubs but I would not do it as there is a very strong smell of plastic emanating from the tubs. Food safe tubs do have some smell but it quickly dissipates. Not so with these tubs and they are also thinner/flimsier.If you are not looking for food safe storage then these tubs are an excellent, cheap buy. If you do need food storage then pay the extra for the safer tub.I use them to store handicraft items, Epsom salts, paint, etc.

Bough these to replace demi-johns as they would be easier to clean but they also make great storage and I'm now using one for storing corks. I can imagine that they could be used for all sorts of storage, pet food, garden chemicals, paint or other loose objects around the home and garage. They feel sturdy and are of good quality.
