Note that when you change one cable you should change the other as well as they stretch over time and that is what I did. The instructions in this kit suggest you take the spring down from the top of the door; whilst that might sound daunting, it is straightforward in reality. I didn't have any choice in the matter anyway as the gap between the cable spools and the side of the garage was too narrow to do this in situ anyway. I also changed the rollers over to use the new ones supplied in the kit. The only issue I had was getting the e-clips on - they were too tight to push on with pliers and i ended up filing down the clips slightly to get them on (see the picture for an example of what I mean, there is a e-clip on the inside of the door bracket as well). The cable spools that came in my pack were black, not the red and white ones shown in the image, but worked fine. The 4mm punch for getting the pins out is nice quality and looks like it will last a long time. All in all a very comprehensive kit at an excellent price!
