It will dry/harden at room temp, but the process can be speeded up by application of heat. We used ours around the outlet flue of a Morso stove, and just lit the stove as we usually did after we’d applied the Vitcas. There was no problem. **Q: Is this odourless?** A: Probably not odourless but I can’t remember it having a particular smell **Q: Has anyone used this to build an outdoor Indian tandoor? Using terracotta btw ftw** A: No **Q: Can you sand it?** A: No idea. The baffle had company broken into two pieces, I used this to ‘glue’ them back together, and also sort out lots of cracks that had developed inside the log burner. It’s gone off rock hard, I’ve had several fires since using this and no issues, time will tell I guess.
