It's hard to beat home cooked chips, wedges or mash but in a world where we seem to be busy all the time I find half a packet of these, hot water and a little bit of any additional flavoring you like or just on their own is definitely miles better than grabbing a takeaway or snacks. These are easy to make, genuinely tasty and the calories are very respectable/sensible. When camping these are definitely a key part of our food stock as you can't easily take a bag of potatoes on the road but you can always find water to heat. They are also easy to clean up as there's generally low waste with these.
