(Try that with a normal fabric mouse pad.) The mouse pad also looks nice, and the tracking is good.What I don't like is the pad moves around a bit, in my opinion, the bottom should be a bit more sticky. Also, the beveled edge, had some scratches in it when I got it, and those irritated my wrist. I turned the mouse pad so those scratches are no longer facing where my wrist is. This solves that problem for now.
