How did it do? How did you apply it?** A: Yes & in similar applications - USB ports in a laptop, PCI expansion slot edge connectors & memory slots in desktop computers & servers, contacts between digital SLR bodies & lenses, automotive connectors, battery contacts in flashlights, etc. Applied with the tiny brush or needle applicator in the bottle / applicator. It WORKS: It eliminates errors between camera & lenses, improves reliability in computers, causes flashlights to illuminate more brightly & steadily over longer periods. I've not found it necessary to remove residue. a small drop or thin film is sufficient. Saturating the contact surface is un-necessary. In a USB port, plugging & unplugging the cable 2-3-4 times tends to distribute Deoxit over the contact surface. **Q: Has anyone found a way to apply it to the inside of a 3.5mm jack?** A: My solution is to coat the male plug and then insert it and rotate it in place. **Q: Does product come in unopened retail packaging in full container?** A: comes in retail cardboard and plastic retail package. Bottle is about 1/2" diameter and 2" length. so it seems small. **Q: One of my channel faders on my console is having dropouts, would this solve this problem?** A: I am not familiar with channel faders, but my set up is custom made for all music media, including speakers. I couldn't play anything because of the extreme static. I treated the volume stem of control panel with DeoxIT gold Mini-Brush. I then found that one of the speakers had been jerry-wired and rewired it correctly. These two steps restored the excellent music sound. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every single penny *by S***) on 29 October 2019* Resolves oxidation issues on gold finger contacts (e.g. video game cartridges) and PCB flex ribbons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I suppose 100mL is 100mL but never the less must ... *by G***S on 10 March 2017* I suppose 100mL is 100mL but never the less must admit the bottle size surprised me!
