A little thick to mix but no discoloration, clear in color, no odor and I've sat hot pans on that one spot and pretty heat resistant. Apply a torch or hair dryer to it to remove the bubbles. Super effective.

A: SCC Epoxy has a heat resistance up to 475 degrees when fully cured.

**Q: What do you use to clean up brushes and tools**
A: We use Acetone to clean up the epoxy when it is still wet. We let the epoxy dry in our mixing buckets, but we tip them on end, then when it's dry it can be peeled out of the smooth plastic bucket. The brushes can be cleaned in acetone or only used once. If the epoxy is dry, heat up the dried epoxy with a heat gun or blow dryer, then use a scraper or flat head screwdriver to pull up if it spilled on the floor.

**Q: what temperature is it heat resistant to?**
A: Once fully cured SCC Epoxy has a heat resistance up up to 475 degrees.

**Q: can it be applied on grante counter tops**
A: With Granite countertops you can absolutely change the look of your natural stone. We recommend cleaning and degreasing your surface before sanding with a 60 grit sanding disc to give your surface a better mechanical bond before applying a thin coat of bonding primer to also create a chemical bond on the surface of your granite so that your coats of paint and primer in one and eventual epoxy coat will adhere well to the surface. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I adore IT! But, it’s very expensive…

I create artwork for a living and I use this to finish my art with because it’s relatively easy to work with (ie mixing up, bubbles, viscosity) I also have found that it won’t yellow like other brands have. I’ve even tested it outdoors and its held up great- although they don’t recommend using it for outdoor items. Overall the quality and reliability of this epoxy is superior to any other I’ve tried thus far. My one issue is that it’s so expensive I can’t afford to use it on every piece I want to. I wish it was less expensive for the gallon size kit, but everything else about it is unbeatably solid.
