I feel it is a pretty good product, clear umbrella for night, evening, and overcast rain and snow weather. Doesn't shade the ambient light. with a bonus of having a changing light rod, and a foot light in the handle for the evening walks. The handle and shaft is pretty sturdy and the umbrella is manually opened, not spring loaded. With a button strap to keep it rolled up. The light does fade in the middle of the shaft.
