Box Contains 1 x TCB Hair Relaxer Regular Strengh 425g/15oz Review: Excellent! - I used this product (with caution) on caucasian, fine hair to try and reverse a perm I had done a couple of months ago. I was initially worried about it being too harsh for my hair, so I mixed one tablespoon of the product with 3 tablespoons of conditioner and left it on for 10 minutes. The results were minimal but you could see it had taken a little bit to my hair. I waited a day and then applied it directly onto my hair (without mixing with conditioner) and timed 7 minutes. This had a much better effect and my hair was almost back to being poker straight. I waited another day before doing a third session and repeated it with a 10 minute timer. My perm has now been reversed and my hair is not damaged at all. There is a a slight “permy” smell to the product as it takes effect, but it’s not as strong as actual perming solution. Overall, use with caution on fine hair and I’m glad I did little and often as it’s a strong product. But very happy with it! Review: Absolutely love this! - This is the first relaxer that I have used that hasn’t burnt my scalp or thinner my hair. The fact that’s pre mixed means it takes minutes to apply, there’s no mixing or mess, no wastage and the ‘average’ mix means that you can decide how long you want to leave it on for. Also you can use normal shampoo to wash it out and it’s all out in two washes whereas the mixed stuff can up to 4/5 washes to get fully out. I left in for 12 mins and my hair came out beautifully. Really pleased and still have two further applications left. I remember when I first went to states 30 years ago and TCB was the brand everyone used. Really glad that I’ve found it again - does a fantastic job. Plus, please use a heavy conditioner and leave-in hair after the relaxer for 30 minutes. But I must recommend Optima Relaxer as a better product. **Q: Can this be used on Caucasian chemically damaged bleached coarse hair?** A: I would, nt use this on damaged hair. It will make it worse. **Q: Can it make curly hair straight?** A: Yes. But you must not leave in hair over 15 min for soft curls.. But heavy thick curls leave as directed.
