Are they short enough to work with 1” Owens Corning panels?** A: They are 1/2" long. They did not work for my application which are 1" spun cotton panels which require a double 1/2" sharp spike, not flat. You might want to check out HOme Depot or Lowes and look at their wood construction mending plate hardware as they are very similar to these and very cheap. You might have to do some fabrication of them. They might have the OC panel there too and you could test it yourself. Otherwise I'd ask the the company if they will work. I placed my spike hardware that came with my panels on 1" wood stripping behind the panel to create an air space and they hang pretty well, but they didn't provide enough of them, only 2 per panel whereas 4 per panel seems more reasonable.
