Don't know why I stopped using it really...Anyway, wanted to get another and found this slightly cheaper version.There is no difference to this menstrual cup and the more expensive versions out there. I find them easy to use and not painful. Yes, it is a a bit daunting at first inserting it but that's because you have to get a bit personal with yourself!Once in, you can't feel it and you can leave them for up to 10 hours and not have to worry about leaks or odours. Easy to clean with water and non-perfumed soap and you can even sterilise it in boiling water. None of this will degrade the silicone. This one comes with it's own little carry case which folds down into a disc and the cup folds down into it so it's very inconspicuous! This case also acts as a cleaner as you can put water in it and shake it up a bit.The only downside I have found and hence only 4 stars, is the stem is way too short. My previous cup had a longer stem and this gave you the option to trim it down to suit. The stem on this cup is tiny! It literally disappears and you again, have to get very intimate with yourself to remove the cup. Even then it is difficult to grab hold of the stem to remove the cup. Your fingers have to contort and almost snap. The whole idea is you grab the base of the cup and pinch. This breaks the seal and then removal is easy and painless.
