Did work ok on my legacy magnetic 12V AC transformer (which gave 12.5V when loaded with the LED spots), but I bought a 12V DC LED driver for less than £5 to get maximum efficiency and reduce the risk of voltage spikes shortening life. Runs/emits less heat than halogen bulbs as expected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BRILLIANT LED's *by E***O on 8 November 2015* These are fabulous bulbs. I bought these bulbs for a display cabinet in our lounge. The halogen beam angle always gave dark patches. The beam angle on these is perfect; it is 110 degrees and the difference is unbelievable. There is a big BUT though; the write up is not the full story for changing to these cost saving bulbs. You will need to change your transformer to a driver/transformer. This eliminates any flickering.
